Since 1976, the Davis Farmers Market has been an ever-growing fixture of the community, attracting farmers from across the region to share their harvests. As the gold standard of farmers markets, it’s a must-visit destination.
Visit year round on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm or Wednesdays 4 – 8pm (April – August) and 3 – 6pm (March – September).
The Davis Farmers Market - 50 years in the making
What began as a small collection of three farmers selling crates of produce has evolved to a weekly destination for up to 10,000 shoppers – both local and visitor alike – to browse the best fruits, vegetables, preserves, and more, that northern California has to offer. While the market itself is reason enough to travel to Davis, special events like Picnic in the Park make the stop one to linger at for hours. From April through August, gather in Central Park Wednesdays from 4-8 p.m. for live music, local wine, children’s entertainment and more.
